Are you looking for an online business? If so, I have a link in my profile for one. It's free to join and open to members worldwide. In fact, we have members in over 200 countries. If what I'm doing isn't for you, then a Google search will find you other options. It might be a bit more difficult to find one that works in Germany, though. I hope you find what you're looking for!

You need a converter for the outlets.
2 :
You need a voltage converter and plug adaptor. US uses 110/120, Germany uses 240.
3 :
Check the voltage on the back of your machines...if it says 110-240 volts, you are in luck, and only need an US-German adaptor plug. If they were made only for the US market, you need a transformer - the European plug is usually built in - but check the power usage for your hairdryer before you buy...needs to be over 1000 watts, usually...

How does one like my self(28 year old American with no degree) find work in Europe(Germany)realize his dream

How does one like my self(28 year old American with no degree) find work in Europe(Germany)realize his dream?
So like I said I am 28 years old, single, and have no kids. I have always wanted to live abroad for a year. Is this possible without having a degree or joining the military? I am a Kentucky guy who just wants to see the world while I am still young. Any suggestions or help you could provide would be much appreciated. -Brian-

It is very difficult to get a work visa, esp. for Eurpoean countries, and esp. if you do not have a degree or a very high tech skill that is needed there. You will not be granted a work visa unless you have already secured employment...very difficult. If you have some savings and can show that you have enough to live on without working for a year, you could travel on a tourist visa. New Zealand does have what is called a "working holiday ' program where you can travel and work there. there are many other sites about working holidays on the web, but they do not include people from the U.S. Most are for Canadians and people from the U.K. Even if you can only afford to go for 3 months ( to Germany or wherever you want to start), you would gain experience and meet others who are trying to do the same thing. Save up, keep researhing and I hope you can find a way that works for you. Just saw the answer from vaggos...those pwople working in unskilled jobs from eastern Europe and africa still have to have work visas...they probably got in on refugee status or as temporary guest workers. you can check out the guest worker info on the German Embassy or consulate visa page...but i doubt tha anAmerican can qualify under that program.
