Where can I find work in Germany

Where can I find work in Germany?
So I am applying for school in Germany and the application is looking to insure that I make at least 650 Euro a month to make sure I stay ahead of things like student bills. I'm an American student who does speak German, but I am not as fluent in German as I am in English. Where can I look for work in and around Stuttgart, making sure I make at least 650 Euro a month. And no I do not want to be a male gigolo, sorry :p thanks! EAS

Germany, like the rest of Europe, uses different mobile frequencies from the Americas, but according to http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/rim-blackberry-curve-8900/4505-6452_7-33485567.html your Blackberry is quad-band, so you will be OK. It will be very expensive for you to use your Canadian SIM card for calls in Germany, as you have to pay charges on received calls as well as the calls you make yourself. Many people buy a local pay-as-you-go SIM card in the country in which they are travelling, and give that number out to their friends, but for this to work your phone must not be locked to Rogers.

I am a German citizen. Please don't come over here to work. We are a strange people and you may not like us so much after all. We worry all the time and never laugh at your good English jokes. We drink too much at the wrong times and are too stuffy at the right times. We will get mad if you don't work hard enough but complain about one another a lot. But....if you do come....then be sure to tell us what a great job we did with the World Cup. Ok? Don't forget. It is important. Thank you.

I am an American living in Germany. You will need a Work Permit in your passport to gain wages legally. You get the permit at the regional government office called the Landratsamt. Check out the German Consulate page for the real information.

You definitely need a work permit if you want to work in Germany and you most probably won't get it. It's very difficult to get a work permit and if you don't have a job before coming to Germany then you can forget it. It's next to impossible to receive a work permit once you have entered the country as a tourist.

yes, you do!

the farmers normally employ people from eastern europe including accomodation. but I don't think you want to work in the stramberry field for 6,50 รข‚¬/h.

wineyards, farmers, army, skippers on canals/river boots, sometimes hotels or big restaurants/hotels/guesthouses. but you need to know that all these jobs are low paid, the looking for cheap labor and most the time these people are from eastern european countrys like Poland or Romania.

you have to speak the language to get a job that would be worth it
