How do I find a sponsor so that I could work on millitary bases in germany
How do I find a sponsor so that I could work on millitary bases in germany?
I'm currently living in north carolina, I'm a veteran, millitary service for 4 years. I got out in 2007. I would like to move to germany and work on one of the millitary bases as a civilian but I don't have or know how to get a sponsor..I need help. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You either need to get a Civil Service job at http://www.usajobs.gov or with one of the contract companies (Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, L-3, etc.). At that point, you'd be your own sponsor.

how can i get a work permit to work in germany?
My dad has asked me to go live over there for a bit. I will need to a job but I think I will need a work permit how will I get one please can I have serious answers. i am british. so i can just move over there i do not need a work permit or anything?

In order to get a work permit, you need to be married to a German citizen or be the child of one. If that's not the case you have no basis for an immigrant or work visa.

Hello Jessica, You do not state what your nationality is; if you are British you can just move over there, register yourself with the local authorities, etc. If you are American, here's a web page that gives you pretty much the rundown. Good Luck!

Or will I need to get a different adapter/find a converter to plug it into before I plug it into the wall?

You will probably need adapters that travelers use when traveling to diffent countries. I suggest posting this question in the travel section to find out just what adapter you will need for Germany.
