sorry to said chance is O.German working visa is hard to apply.especially ur not an citizen of ECC. not to mention on top of so many german now out of worked.
2 :
Best you can do is try and apply for one but as said above they are really picky and you have to PROVE your trade and skill is needed there or they will not give you one. IF you have a company that WANTS to hire you they can assist you in getting a visa but that would be your best bet is getting the potential employers help with it.
3 :
Depends upon your field of expertise. They do not give visa to people who want to work in shops or do construction work or similar. Generally the German government gives only work visa to people who have a university degree in IT or electrical engineering and even these applications get often denied.

How do I obtain an EU passport? I am a US citizen looking for work in Germany.

How do I obtain an EU passport? I am a US citizen looking for work in Germany.
My great grandfather came from Germany. I understand that in order to obtain an EU passport you need to be able to prove your family came from Germany or other EU country. However, I'm not sure if Great-Grandfather qualifies...due to it being so long ago.

I do not think you qualify but do you realize that you would have to give up your US citizenship?
2 :
Great-grandfather does not qualify. Also the below answer is incorrect; you would not lose your US citizenship by accepting nationality of an EU member state. So how do you obtain an EU passport? Marry and EU national and wait a number of years, depending on your country of residence.
3 :
You would have to try to get a work permit in Germany and then live there for 8 years before you can apply for citizenship. You also have to speak German which you probably would by then as well as you would have to fill some other requirements. You would have to renounce your US citizenship to get a German one. The member countries of the EU all have their own laws. Some will allow dual citizenship and some not. Germany will not.

Does the cell phone work in germany

Does the cell phone work in germany?
I wanted to send an old celll phone that I don't use anymore to my family in Germany because somebody there needs it. I am wondering if it will work there if they use their own sim card since its a US phone. Thanks

They (or you) would have to get the device unlocked so any SIM could be used in it. Once that's done, it should work fine for calls and texts.
2 :
The phone would have to be unlocked from its US carrier AND it would have to be capable of using GSM 900/1800 MHz. As 850/1900 MHz is used in the US, unless your phone is a quadband phone, it won't work in Germany.
